Come Saturday, August 10, 9am-1pm, 7957 Hollow Road, Middletown, MD 21769
For some, watermelon brings the feeling of summer.
If that is you, come on out to the Chocolates and Tomatoes Farm On-Farm Market to get yours during the very short season that they are coming out fresh in Maryland.
Order ahead if you want to be sure we have not sold out before you arrive (if you came to market towards the end last week, you missed them). See pics right of watermelon at the market last week.
This Saturday, August 10 expect to see the last of our cantaloupe (pictured right), too!
For the next few weeks, you will continue to see tomatoes and more and more of our pepper rainbow. Learn more about the flavors of the tomatoes and peppers (mostly sweet) that we grow by signing up for classes at The Learning Kitchen at Chocolates and Tomatoes Farm.
See below for more pictures from recent markets. This coming Saturday, we will be open shine or rain (unless lightning, high wind, or flooding). We take cash and credit. We have compostable bags and encourage use of your own. Yes, we grow our own garlic (2 varieties), celery, and lots more. Green beans, carrots, beets, kale, cucumbers, green onions, spinach, salad mix, and eggplant, not pictured, are coming in strong. If you want sweet potato leaves, please order ahead.
